Please help with cleaning, need some tips

So I’m an adult but living with my parents for the time being, I’m wanting to clean this curtain, I know they should toss it and get a new one but it’s not my house so I don’t want to toss their things. Its this gray plasticky fabric and liner, I also just realized I think they have it on backwards.
